new blog skin!! thanks to donald who told me about this site...a nice change..though i only had the one from blogspot for a few days...haha...but as i did that i lost the 2 comments i got from a dear friend ian...so i'm gonna do him justice and copy and paste it here... it's a comment to my earlier post on ryan and trista.

so comes the voice of that ol' jaded optimistic cynic - of which you have been spared for nearly 8 months - ironies of oxymorons, i know...

if i may share my 2 cents tonight, well, love is over-rated. though... love is indeed immense, and a need of life - to quote Ewan McGregor, "like oxygen". Sometimes, you have this love hate relationship with love itself - don't you think? Though love is practically the simplest thing one can offer, it's undoubtedly the hardest thing to give. Like maybe a paradox of paradigms... I think we as human kind still have much to learn about this concept of the overarching ethic of love, of which was developed by our omnipotent being. We practically live our lives around this concept of love do we not?

anyhow, i suggest, you have to watch 'Something's Gotta Give'. Movie of the month in my books... that's of course before Tim Burton's 'Big Fish' opens.

That one, trust me, will be very amazing.

i also suggest, a dinner appointment sometime soon.

anyway the chinese serial on channel 8 9pm slot ended today. it's quite bad, but i still watched it 'cos of edmund chen...=) anyway i couldn't help but compare this show to CSI:crime scene investigation..which is now showing on AXN. the channel 8 one focussed more on catching criminals instead of relying on evidence to solve the crime. they entered so many crime scenes and handled so many evidence without gloves...failed to show us they did DNA swabs and checking for DNA matches and collecting epithelials..or epithelial cells....sigh...we have much to learn...
