it's over!

am i glad....

first and foremost i must thank the Lord...for giving me so much strength to last so long...for being to help me focus when my thoughts stray...

thanks go to my family..and my mum..for your tonics...i don't know how they help..but they do....and aunt..for your neverending supply of fruits...keeping my immune system in check...

thanks to the girls from church...who messages me...reminding me to turn to God and be strong...your timely encouragement and Bible verses have helped so much.

thanks to my friends...who have kept me sane by talking rubbish to me....whether in school or msn....every night you never fail to brighten my spirits...

post exams have been wonderful...had the most beautiful night yesterday....*smiles*

today was a nice day...went to teacher wati's wedding...my first malay wedding! and it was so sweet of her to invite us the volunteers...oh she's a special ed teacher at autism children's centre. it was an eye opener..and she looked beautiful...=) congrats teacher wati!

then went orchard to meet with friends...from CAS to buy our CDs...Clay's new album...Merry Christmas with Love...just listened to it...it's very good....sigh....feeling so proud of him....

one year in the business...numerous accolades..rolling stones cover...triple platinum debut album sales...so many magazine covers...appearances on TV shows (till i can't count)...performances at major awards shows...billboard music award, american music award...performances at events, riding floats on parades...radio interviews...2 full solo tours..one together with kelly and one with the american idol season 2 finalists...a huge fanbase in the states, canada, singapore, hongkong, m'sia..and believe it or not...south africa and some ulu-ated countries here and there...

now...a new album out in stores...a new book coming out..(its out in the states..but kino hasnt put it up on the shelves...aahh!!!!) titled Learning to Sing - Hearing the Music in Your Life...An Inspirational Memoir by Clay Aiken...=) oo....and his handprint has fetched the highest bid for mcdonald's charity - US$15,000....i wonder who paid that whooping amt!!! most importantly...he's been named UNICEF's ambassador for education...the youngest ever named...

now..poor baby is sick! down with flu, fever and gasp! vocal chord damage!! sorry..a tad too dramatic...but its scary...look what happened to julie andrews....get well soon clay!

anyway 4 of us spent the entire sunday afternoon talking...about everything from clay's music, clay's book, clay's relationship with his father and stepfather, clay's clothes...to anthropology...political sciences...races...differences between westerns and easterns (?)...it's amazing how one journalist, one international sch student, one NTU student and one VJ student can spend the entire sunday afternoon talking....

christmas is one month away! saw the christmas lights yesterday night...beeaauutiful....and the busking atmosphere added to the festive occasion...

somehow it's quite sad that some forget the true meaning of christmas...celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ...not christmas shopping...not christmas presents..stockings..santa...sleigh rides...christmas puddings..not even christmas trees...
